The STM32F091xB/xC microcontrollers have a high-performance ARM® Cortex®-M0 32-bit RISC core that operates at up to 48 MHz, high-speed embedded storage (up to 256 Kbytes of Flash memory and 32 Kbytes of SRAM), and a wide range of upgraded peripherals and I/Os. Standard communication interfaces (two I2Cs, two SPIs/one I2S, one HDMI CEC, and up to eight USARTs) are provided, as well as one CAN, one 12-bit ADC, one 12-bit DAC with two channels, seven 16-bit timers, one 32-bit timer, and an advanced-control PWM timer.

The STM32F091xB/xC microcontrollers work in the -40 to +85 °C and -40 to +105 °C temperature ranges, with a power supply ranging from 2.0 to 3.6 V. A diverse range of power-saving settings enables the development of low-power applications.


The STM32F091xB/xC microcontrollers are available in seven different packages ranging from 48 to 100 pins, with a die shape available upon request. Different sets of peripherals are included depending on the device.

These characteristics make the STM32F091xB/xC microcontrollers suitable for a wide range of applications, including application control and user interfaces, handheld devices, A/V receivers and digital TV, PC peripherals, gaming and GPS platforms, industrial applications, PLCs, inverters, printers, scanners, alarm systems, video intercoms, and HVACs.
